Monday to Friday - 8.00 am to 5.00 pm (40 hours per week).

About the Role
As the HSE & Site Safety Advisor, you will be a key member of the Minor Works Project team, providing expert Health & Safety guidance across all phases of construction projects. You will ensure compliance with CDM2015, building regulations, and EMCOR UK/client standards. Your responsibilities will include supporting the review of risk assessments, construction phase planning, and site welfare setup. You will conduct audits, inspections, and compliance evaluations, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement. Promoting a culture of wellbeing and safety through initiatives such as Be There For Life and other wellbeing programmes will be essential. You will assist in incident investigations and share lessons learned, maintain ISO accreditations (9001, 45001, 14001), and contribute to inclusive policies supporting mental and physical wellbeing. Representing EMCOR UK at stakeholder forums, producing performance reports, and ensuring subcontractor compliance will form part of your role. You will collaborate with client HSEQ&W teams to deliver contract obligations and foster strong working relationships. Engaging stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, you will offer technical input from planning to completion, ensuring standards are upheld. Additionally, you will perform trend analysis of near misses and issues on customer sites to report on potential behavioural concerns.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years' experience in construction health, safety, and environment roles is required. Proven knowledge of Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations and duties of client, principal contractor, and principal designers is essential. Experience working with HSQE systems and processes that meet ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards is necessary.

Qualifications
