About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated HSE Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide HSE advice and support to a portfolio of projects across the UK, helping to develop and maintain a positive HSE culture through engagement and auditing on multiple construction sites. Your work will involve supporting project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with legislation and industry best practices, and driving continuous improvement in HSE performance. This position requires travel across the UK and a strong background in construction HSE. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide cost-effective specialist HSE support and advice to tendering and project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Support development of processes aligned with legislation, Group policies, and ESI / Construction Industry best practices
- Conduct audits and inspections of projects and departmental processes to monitor performance and identify improvement areas
- Support HSE performance improvement strategies and campaigns linked to business objectives and targets, both internally and through supply chain partners
- Produce monthly HSE KPIs and management information for review and action by the Management Team
Experience
- Proven HSE professional experience with a focus on project and construction environments
- Experience in operation and management of business management systems

- Strong understanding of construction HSE practices and culture
- Proactive and motivated to drive positive HSE engagement and continuous improvement
- Computer literate with proficient IT skills
Qualifications
- Qualified to NEBOSH Construction level in HSE Management
- Familiarity with relevant ISO standards
