About the Role
Aspect Maintenance, one of London’s largest property maintenance companies for over 15 years, is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our expanding team. We specialise in reactive, remedial, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) contracts across residential and commercial properties, operating 24/7, 365 days a year.
As an HVAC Engineer, you will provide a full range of air conditioning, heat pump, and commercial refrigeration services. You will receive confirmed bookings consistently and be paid for your time on-site plus time spent collecting parts and materials. Typical duties include fault finding, repairs, and installations of air conditioning and heat pump systems, as well as preventative maintenance and refrigeration servicing.
Clear communication with customers is essential; you will explain the work to be done, provide reassurance, and confidently quote for remedial work. Our bespoke software empowers engineers to manage their own work independently, supported by a field-based Technical Manager who offers advice and arranges additional resources for complex jobs.
You will be provided with a branded vehicle and uniform, have congestion charge and ULEZ fees covered, and benefit from parts and materials purchasing through our supplier network. There is also opportunity for career progression into senior field-based roles.
Experience
Proven experience in air conditioning fault finding, repairs, and installations. Experience with heat pumps and commercial refrigeration maintenance is highly desirable.
About you
F-Gas certified with strong technical knowledge. Plumbing knowledge is desirable but not essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide detailed scopes of work and fixed price quotes. Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high quality workmanship and service. Prepared to travel within the M25 area and work on-call as required.
You must have your own hand tools; specialist equipment will be supplied. A valid UK driving licence is essential.
Qualifications
F-Gas certification is required. Additional training in air source heat pumps will be provided.
