About the Role
North Wales Wildlife Trust is at an exciting stage of growth and development. As part of establishing a new Senior Leadership Team, we are seeking an experienced and strategic finance leader to join us as Interim Director of Finance and Business Support. This fixed-term role is initially for 6 months with the potential to become a permanent full-time position as the Trust expands its organisational capacity.

Working closely with the CEO, Trustees and colleagues across the organisation, you will lead the Finance and Business Support functions, providing strategic oversight of finance, administration, IT, facilities, property and organisational systems. A key focus will be strengthening financial planning and controls, supporting long-term sustainability, and embedding a new finance system across the Trust.

You will play a central role in supporting organisational growth, improving business processes, and ensuring the infrastructure behind the Trust is fit for the future. This role offers the opportunity to combine strategic thinking with practical delivery to help create a wilder, more resilient North Wales.

We anticipate a presence in the Bangor office will be required as the team you manage is based there, but hybrid working options are available including working from home or the Aberduna office.

Benefits
Generous pension and annual leave entitlement, flexible and hybrid working, UK Cycle scheme, 20% discount at Cotswold Outdoor, and opportunities to learn Welsh with support from the Trust.
