About the Role
Help us create places people are proud to call home. We’re looking for a talented Landscape Architect to join Hill and help shape the landscape, public realm and placemaking across our residential and mixed-use developments. Working across projects from early concept and planning through to detailed design and delivery, you’ll collaborate with our Land, Planning, Technical, Development and Construction teams to create high-quality, sustainable and distinctive places.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing landscape design input across new and live developments
- Supporting site layouts, masterplans and placemaking strategies
- Reviewing and coordinating all landscape designs
- Creating and developing hard and soft landscape proposals
- Supporting planning applications and landscape conditions
- Integrating Biodiversity Net Gain, SuDS and green infrastructure
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs are practical, coordinated and deliverable
- Visiting sites to help maintain landscape quality through construction

Experience
Degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture. Experience within a landscape practice, developer, housebuilder or multidisciplinary environment. Good understanding of the UK planning system. Knowledge of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), sustainable drainage (SuDS) and green infrastructure. Strong design skills with a practical and commercially aware approach. Experience taking projects from concept and planning through to delivery.
About you
Creative and motivated with a passion for sustainable placemaking. Able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Practical and commercially aware mindset. Willingness to visit sites to ensure landscape quality is maintained through construction.
Qualifications
Degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture is essential.
