About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Landscape Architectural Assistant to join the Landscape team within Property Services at Hampshire County Council. Property Services is a pioneering public service practice with a national reputation for inspirational, practical and resilient architecture, winning awards over many years. The team is a thriving multi-disciplinary design-led office of around 100 designers with an ever-increasing portfolio of exciting and varied projects.

As a Landscape Architectural Assistant, you will support the landscape design and delivery of construction projects, providing a service of the highest quality. You will assist in delivering creative and effective services, supporting the planning, designing and successful delivery of projects safely, on time, within budget and with positive client feedback. Your role will involve supporting multi-disciplinary design teams throughout all project stages from inception to completion.

Requirements

Experience
You will have relevant professional experience in landscape architecture, demonstrating excellent design skills and a passion for creating high-quality landscapes. Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams and on a diverse range of projects is essential. Familiarity with construction principles, materials and statutory requirements including Health and Safety, Building Regulations and planning procedures is required.

Experience with CAD and digital design tools is essential. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp and Revit is advantageous.

Qualifications
You will hold an undergraduate degree and a postgraduate Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from a Landscape Institute accredited course. An aspiration to progress through the Landscape Institute's Pathway to Chartership is desirable.
