About the Role
Thames Estuary Partnership is seeking an experienced and passionate Learning & Engagement Manager to lead the development and delivery of innovative education, training, and community engagement programmes focused on ocean literacy, climate resilience, and environmental sustainability across the River Thames and Estuary. This role will play a key part in delivering the Thames Catchment Community Eels Project, working collaboratively with partners to create engaging, inclusive educational initiatives and outreach programmes, particularly for under-served communities and young people exploring green careers. The position is fixed term for 9 months, with the possibility of extension subject to funding. This is an exciting opportunity to shape impactful education programmes that connect communities with the Thames, sustainability, and future green careers.

Experience
- Environmental education, sustainability, community engagement, or a related field
- Strong programme or project management experience
- Experience developing educational content, workshops, or learning programmes
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership management skills
- Experience working with charities, environmental organisations, local authorities, education providers, or community-focused programmes is highly beneficial
