About the Role
Masdar, the UAE's clean energy champion and a global leader in renewable energy and green hydrogen technologies, is seeking a Manager for Asset Management focused on Global Offshore Wind and UK assets. This role is responsible for managing and optimising the returns of offshore wind assets throughout their operational lifecycle. You will drive value through operational, financial, and technical levers while ensuring adherence to governance and QHSE standards. The role involves leading workstreams to seize improvement opportunities, mitigate risks, and cultivate strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders. You will represent Masdar's interests in joint venture projects and provide asset management expertise during project development and M&A processes.
Key responsibilities include proactive management of assigned assets from operational, commercial, financial, and technical perspectives to optimise value and returns; monitoring asset performance and driving improvements; managing key contracts such as Operating & Maintenance (O&M), Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), and Financing Agreements; and contributing to the implementation and improvement of an Asset Management System aligned with ISO 55001.
Additional duties include managing financial models and debt compliance, preparing operational and financial reports for management and board members, developing and tracking annual budgets, coordinating with technical, engineering, and commercial teams, and representing Masdar at governance committees. You will also collaborate with Business Development and M&A teams to advise on asset management topics and support strategic exits to maximise returns.
The role requires strict compliance with Masdar's information security policies to protect assets and sensitive information. You will manage multiple complex workstreams and operational assets of international scale and value.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in commercial asset management, contract negotiations, stakeholder management, cost optimisation, financial analysis, due diligence, and investment appraisals in offshore wind.
- Previous experience with a leading offshore wind developer or investor.
- Experience in Asset Management / O&M activities and/or managing contractors on offshore wind farms or portfolios is a plus.
- Experience in management consulting, engineering firms, or investment banking is advantageous.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field.
- A Master's degree and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification are preferred.
