About the Role
Join BAE Systems as a Procurement Manager within the IPS Strategy Team, focusing on Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Sustainable Procurement aligned with Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles. You will lead the development and ownership of the IPS SRM framework and drive sustainable procurement initiatives across multiple categories including Technology, Infrastructure, Professional Services, and People Services.

Your responsibilities will include embedding ESG considerations into supplier selection and management, defining supplier segmentation and engagement frameworks, and establishing performance metrics and review forums to ensure accountability and continuous improvement. You will support category teams in building strategic supplier relationships that deliver value beyond cost savings, including innovation, resilience, risk mitigation, and sustainability.

This role offers the opportunity to influence procurement practices across indirect categories, driving capability, consistency, and best practice sharing within the Indirect Procurement Services team. You will contribute to delivering advanced, technology-led defence, aerospace, and security solutions that shape a safer future.

Experience
- Significant procurement experience, ideally within an indirect procurement environment
- Proven experience developing, implementing, or managing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) frameworks
- Expertise in supplier segmentation, governance, and performance management
- Experience working with strategic suppliers to deliver value beyond cost savings
- Sustainable Procurement and ESG experience
- Indirect category management and people management experience
