About the Role
Wilsons Epsom is a well-established, large, multi-franchise main dealer in the Surrey area, seeking a dedicated Motor Vehicle Technician Apprentice to work towards a Level 3 Motor Vehicle and Maintenance Technician Standard. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside a team of experienced technicians, learning to maintain and repair customer vehicles to a high standard. The role involves working on the latest modern vehicle products and technologies, including electronic vehicle operating systems and alternative fuel vehicles such as electric (EV), hybrid, and hydrogen-powered vehicles.

Your duties will include general servicing and repairs, following manufacturer guidelines to ensure optimum vehicle performance. Under guidance, you will learn technical repair processes, manufacturer warranty procedures, and progress to more complex diagnostics involving systems such as ABS, engine management, electronic gearboxes, steering, ADAS, and infotainment systems.

Please note, a full UK driving licence is required as you will be expected to drive these vehicles during your apprenticeship.

Experience
No prior experience is required. The apprenticeship can be tailored to reflect any existing knowledge or qualifications you may have.

Qualifications
