About the Role
We are supporting an established environmental services organisation seeking an organised and detail-focused Operational Administrative Assistant to support its Hazardous Waste Operations team. You will help ensure completed jobs are accurately recorded, supported by the correct documentation and ready for invoicing. Working closely with operations, sales, finance, suppliers and third-party contractors, you will maintain accurate records, follow up missing information and support an efficient month-end process.
This role suits an experienced administrator confident working with financial, operational and compliance documentation and comfortable following outstanding issues through to resolution.

Experience
- Previous experience in an administration, operations or finance-support role is required.
- Experience with invoicing processes, accounts procedures or financial ledgers is beneficial.
- Previous experience within hazardous waste, environmental services or another regulated industry is advantageous.
- Experience handling compliance or operational documentation.
- Experience working with suppliers or third-party contractors.

- Strong numerical skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail when checking financial, operational and compliance information.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing with colleagues, customers, suppliers and contractors.
- Ability to identify issues and escalate potential operational, financial or compliance risks appropriately.
- Proactive approach with the ability to follow outstanding actions through to completion.
