About the Role
The Farm Carbon Toolkit (FCT) is a leading, independent farmer-led enterprise supporting farmers and growers to reduce carbon emissions and increase carbon sequestration. For over 10 years, we have advanced the understanding of greenhouse gas emissions in agriculture by providing measurement tools and delivering projects that inspire real action on the ground. As Operations Administrator, you will be a crucial link in our team, providing dedicated administrative support to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations, projects, events, communications, and team coordination. This role requires a naturally organised, motivated, positive, and self-starting individual who is confident with IT, comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and new systems. You will take initiative to continually improve our systems and processes within a remote-working environment. Our team values collaboration, practicality, empathy, and science-driven approaches. We are an employee-owned organisation, fostering a culture where staff have a stake in our success and a strong voice in how we operate. We meet in person at least four times a year to reflect, plan, and collaborate. We are a dynamic, flexible, and supportive team committed to well-being, inclusivity, and building a thriving low-carbon farming future.
Experience
Experience in administrative roles is desirable. Confidence with IT systems, spreadsheets, and data management is essential. Ability to work independently and take initiative is important.
About you
You are highly organised, conscientious, motivated, positive, and self-starting. You are comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a small, dynamic team. You share our values of collaboration, empathy, and science-driven work. You are adaptable and eager to contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are stated as mandatory; however, relevant administrative or IT skills and experience will be advantageous.
