As a Planning Policy Team Leader, you will play a transformative role in shaping the future of Southwark’s urban landscape. You will lead a sub-team within the Planning Policy team, focusing on Housing delivery and digital initiatives, contributing to the update of the Southwark Plan under the new planning system. Your work will influence major developments along the Thames, Elephant and Castle, Canada Water, Peckham, and Camberwell.
You will collaborate with consultants, partners, and stakeholders to produce clear, evidence-based planning policies aligned with local and national frameworks. Your leadership will ensure high standards of decision-making and support the delivery of the Corporate Delivery Plan, helping the council meet its strategic planning objectives.
