About the Role
Join a vibrant community at Loughborough University as a skilled and motivated plumber within the Estates and Facilities Mechanical Maintenance team. You will deliver planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across one of the UK’s largest single-site university campuses, a 518-acre estate recognised as one of the largest in Europe. Working in a technically complex environment, you will maintain and support a wide range of building services systems and plant serving academic, residential, research, and specialist facilities. This role offers significant opportunities for on-the-job learning and development, working closely with experienced colleagues and alongside other Facilities Management teams, including electrical and building fabric, within a collaborative multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications
City and Guilds Plumbing and Heating or equivalent Level 2 (Required)
City and Guilds Plumbing and Heating or equivalent Level 3 (Desirable)
Experience
Ability to maintain heating, plumbing, and ventilation services
Ability to solve complex problems and self-manage workloads

Motivated and skilled plumber with a proactive approach to work
Willingness to participate in the On Call Rota, which runs evenings and weekends throughout the year
