About the Role

Join Ramboll's Sustainable Solutions team as our new Principal Sustainability Consultant and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.
In this role, you will work on sustainability projects across various sectors within the UK and Europe. You will be part of a team of experts specializing in certifications, whole life carbon and circular economy, indoor environmental quality, and decarbonisation. You will thrive in a supportive environment, working on prestigious projects with ambitious clients and project teams.
Your key responsibilities will include leading and delivering sustainable certification projects such as BREEAM, DREAM, WELL, and LEED; providing expert advice and guidance to design teams on sustainability standards; facilitating design team workshops; managing client relationships; overseeing project management and internal quality assurance; contributing to internal tool development and research; mentoring junior staff; preparing and quality assuring technical reports; supporting training and development of junior team members; and managing project budgets, timeframes, and deliverables to ensure high quality and profitable work.
Experience
A minimum of 6 years’ experience delivering sustainability projects within the Buildings sector, including a strong track record of working on projects throughout design and construction phases. Proven experience delivering green building certification projects such as BREEAM, DREAM, WELL, and LEED.
About you
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead project meetings, liaise with clients, and convey highly technical knowledge to diverse audiences. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload, project finances, and meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A keen interest in sharing knowledge to support Ramboll’s strategy of being ‘The Partner for Sustainable Change’.
Qualifications
A relevant degree in a related field. Certifications qualification such as Licensed BREEAM Assessor, BREEAM AP, or WELL AP.
