About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Sustainability Consultant to join our expanding Sustainability Team. In this pivotal role, you will guide clients in achieving their sustainability objectives by leveraging your expertise in energy services compliance, including Part L building regulations, thermal bridging calculations, condensation risk analysis, and TM52/59 modelling. Your responsibilities will include consulting with clients to assess current sustainability practices, developing tailored strategies to meet net zero emissions targets, providing expert guidance on energy services regulatory compliance, and conducting comprehensive sustainability audits. You will also develop roadmaps to improve environmental performance across various operational facets, ensuring clients meet all relevant regulatory requirements.

Experience
- Proven experience in sustainability consulting with a focus on energy services such as Energy and Sustainability Statements, Overheating analysis, Part L compliance, Condensation Risk Analysis, and Thermal Bridging calculations
- In-depth knowledge of UK energy regulations and standards, including Part L building regulations and related legislation
- Qualified in the use of DesignBuilder
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data to inform sustainability strategies
- Project management experience, managing multiple projects and delivering results within deadlines

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all organisational levels
- Motivated and proactive with a passion for sustainability and environmental performance
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required
Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CIBSE accreditation are highly desirable
