About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Sustainability Consultant to join our growing Sustainability Team. In this pivotal role, you will guide clients towards achieving their sustainability objectives by leveraging your expertise in energy services compliance, including Part L building regulations, thermal bridging calculations, condensation risk analysis, and TM52/59 modelling. Your responsibilities will include consulting with clients to assess current sustainability practices and develop tailored strategies to achieve net zero emissions targets, providing expert guidance on compliance with energy services regulations, and conducting comprehensive sustainability audits to develop roadmaps for improving environmental performance across various operational facets. You will play a key role in supporting clients to meet regulatory requirements and enhance their sustainability outcomes.

Experience
- Proven experience in sustainability consulting, focusing on energy services such as Energy and Sustainability Statements, Overheating analysis, Part L compliance, Condensation Risk Analysis, and Thermal Bridging calculations
- In-depth knowledge of UK energy regulations and standards, including Part L building regulations and related legislation
- Qualified in the use of DesignBuilder
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data to inform sustainability strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Project management experience, capable of managing multiple projects and delivering results within deadlines
- Professional certifications such as CIBSE accreditation are desirable
