About the Role
Fauna & Flora is seeking a highly experienced Programme Development Manager to build excellent donor relationships, support pipeline development, and coordinate the development of high-quality, winning concept notes and proposals for government and multilateral donors. Key funders include Defra, FCDO, EU, AFD, and various climate and environment multilateral funds. This role supports colleagues and partners in engaging with priority donors and ensures the submission of donor-aligned proposals and reporting. A strong focus on capacity development and learning is integral, sharing knowledge and best practices across the organisation to maximise success and promote effective grant management and donor stewardship. The role offers the opportunity to work within a pioneering and entrepreneurial organisation delivering over 130 projects in more than 40 countries. Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working with institutional and government funding sources, including bilateral and/or multilateral donors. Demonstrated success in securing programme funding from government sources. Strong understanding of how institutional donors and funding programmes align with international targets and government priorities.

Excellent relationship-management and communication skills with the ability to develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional teams, non-governmental partners, and government agencies. Diplomatic and persuasive with strong interpersonal skills to coordinate people and processes effectively to meet deadlines.
