About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional with an excellent track record in leading teams to develop their project design and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) approaches, ensuring they deliver impact aligned with Fauna & Flora’s strategy. This role will work closely with colleagues across the Africa team, the central Conservation Design & Impact team, and other cross-cutting teams based in the UK and regionally. You will play a key role in facilitating progress across multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring that project-level strategies are transformed into donor-funded proposals. The role requires a strong commitment to developing expertise within local teams in design and MEL-related skillsets, alongside experience in managing and mentoring individuals and delivering training. Additional Information

Requirements

Experience
- Proven track record in leading teams to develop project design and MEL approaches that demonstrate a clear trajectory from design to impact.
- Experience working within donor-funded settings.
- Skilled in inclusively facilitating diverse groups to develop and agree on project design and MEL approaches.
- Experience managing and mentoring individuals and delivering training.

About you
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of individuals.
- Commitment to building expertise in local teams and supporting capacity development.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications
- A good technical background and understanding of a range of conservation issues is essential.
