About the Role
We are seeking a committed and proactive Nature Projects Delivery Officer to join the Environment Team at the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) on a three-year fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of nature-based projects across the region, helping to protect and restore green spaces, attract environmental investment, and advance the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS). You will work closely with the Nature Projects Delivery Manager, internal teams, and external partners including local authorities, environmental charities, and national bodies. Your responsibilities will include managing data, coordinating meetings, supporting funding bids, and project reporting. This role offers variety and the chance to make a meaningful environmental impact across the West Midlands.

Experience
Experience supporting or coordinating projects and engaging stakeholders is essential. Awareness of environmental or nature-based issues in the UK is required.

About you
Excellent communication, organisation, and data handling skills. Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
