Responsibilities include executing small research projects, supporting strategic decision making, preparing presentations and reports, and collaborating with senior management and cross-functional teams to implement research findings. You will also participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Additional duties involve identifying opportunities, developing business cases, managing deployment and launch of new products and services, managing client relationships, providing customer service support, and assisting in the development and implementation of financial models and strategies. You may also have the chance to train and mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the development of training materials.
As part of the internship, you will work on diverse and intellectually challenging projects in a fast-paced environment, learning to communicate and engage effectively with senior stakeholders. You will gain strategic insight into how the PPCR function supports Barclays’ sustainability, citizenship agendas, communications strategy, and government and regulatory policy engagement.
Barclays values Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship, and expects all colleagues to embody these principles alongside the Barclays Mindset: to Empower, Challenge, and Drive. This internship is designed to provide meaningful responsibilities, full support, and the chance to build lasting connections while discovering Barclays' unique culture.
If successful and offered a return position on the Graduate Programme, your location will remain the same as during your internship.
