About the Role
As a QHSE Advisor at Riverside Property Services, you will support the Head of QHSE to develop and implement strategies for health, safety, and environmental sustainability across the organisation. Your role will involve identifying health, safety, and environmental issues and opportunities, communicating solutions, and working with employees to ensure workplace risks are controlled and environmental impacts minimised. You will assist in delivering Riverside's Health & Safety and Environmental Policies, monitor legislative changes, promote best practices, and support operational teams to comply with relevant policies. Key responsibilities include conducting audits and inspections, investigating accidents and near misses, maintaining accident statistics, liaising with trade unions, reviewing risk assessments, and providing general health and safety advice. The role requires flexibility, confidentiality, and a commitment to equality and diversity. You will be expected to travel regularly and hold a valid UK driving licence. Requirements

Experience
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent) with relevant experience
- Competent in audit and inspection processes including report writing and action plan development
- Experience working with Health and Safety & Environmental management systems including ISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO14001
- Competent in the use of IT platforms such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- High attention to detail

Qualifications
- Desirable: Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g. IOSH, IIRSM)
- Internal Auditor certification (9001/14001/45001)
- IEMA Environmental Management Certificate
- Professional Membership (IOSH, IIRSM or equivalent)
