About the Role
A leading housing organisation is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join its Asset & Property team. This permanent role involves supporting the commercial management and delivery of planned investment and construction projects across a substantial housing portfolio. You will be responsible for financial control, contract administration, and ensuring value-for-money delivery.

You will work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery, contribute to service improvements, and help achieve wider organisational objectives.

Experience
- Delivering quantity surveying services within the construction sector is essential
- Procurement, project management, contract administration, and budget management experience required
- Client-side Quantity Surveying experience is desirable
- Housing sector and planned investment experience is desirable
- Knowledge of the Construction Act and associated legislation is desirable
- Regular site visits will be required

About You
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor, degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor, or someone with significant relevant experience
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to analyse complex commercial and financial information and provide clear commercial recommendations
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use are essential

Qualifications
- Chartered status, a degree qualification, or significant relevant experience in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is required
