About the Role
Essex Waste Partnership aims to be a zero-waste county by reducing waste and protecting the environment. Join our Recycling Centre Team as a full-time Site Operative at Chelmsford Recycling Centre. You will assist the public with queries and complaints, maintain a clean and safe site, provide clear instructions to subcontractors and hauliers, operate plant machinery, oversee waste movements, and ensure materials are stored properly for optimal recycling. You will also ensure compliance with safety standards, contribute to efficient site operations, and support administrative tasks as needed. Occasionally, you may be required to work at alternative Recycling Centres. The role requires mobility across the operational area, so a driving licence and access to a vehicle or alternative means to meet mobility requirements are necessary.
