About the Role
The Dawn Meats Group, operating as Dunbia in the UK, is one of Europe's leading food processing companies with a commitment to producing better food naturally. We are seeking a Regional Environmental Manager to join our team and support multiple sites across the Westcountry. Reporting to both the Site Operations Managers and the Group Environmental Manager, you will provide expert advice on environmental matters to ensure compliance with legislation and customer requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording environmental KPIs, developing energy initiative programmes, maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards, investigating and reporting environmental incidents, and delivering in-house environmental training to enhance colleague knowledge and performance. You will also support engineering teams in managing on-site wastewater treatment plants and ensure all team members adhere to company policies, legislative requirements, and customer trends. This is a dynamic role requiring flexibility and strong leadership to manage and develop individuals reporting to you.

Experience
Proven ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively in a dynamic working environment. Experience working within environmental management systems and compliance is highly desirable.

Qualifications
Graduate or third level qualification desirable but not essential. Relevant academic or professional qualifications in environmental management or related fields are advantageous.
