About the Role
Are you ready to make a real difference? This operational leadership role involves providing direction to a newly formed team responsible for ensuring effective delivery and assurance of COMAH regulation to reduce environmental impact and prevent major accidents.

You will develop and lead the regulatory strategy for COMAH, manage risk and assurance, and advise senior leadership. Your team will deliver robust inspections, audits, and incident investigations across nationally and politically significant sites. You will work collaboratively across the organisation and with external partners, including Local Resilience Forums, to embed intelligence-led regulation aligned with environmental objectives.

As a leader, you will coach and support your team through cultural and business change, maintaining their health, safety, and wellbeing while ensuring focus on areas delivering the greatest environmental benefit. Incident response leadership is a key part of this role, with full training and additional payments available.
