The role involves installing a variety of energy projects including commercial and domestic rooftop solar systems, fixing mechanical and structural mounting for racking, modules, and electrical equipment, as well as ground-mounted systems. You will work at heights, in all weather conditions, and in tight spaces such as attics. Attention to detail is essential as you will follow layout plans for solar module installations.
You will also attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodologies, and health and safety to ensure your professional development and safety at work.
Experience
No specific professional experience is required as full training will be provided.

Qualifications
Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you will achieve a Level 2 NVQ in Construction Plant Operation.
