About the Role
Join Cambridge Carbon Footprint as our new Repair Cafe Officer and support one of the most successful Repair Cafe networks in the UK. We are looking for a well-organised all-rounder with excellent communication and IT skills to support our 45-strong network of Repair Cafes in Cambridgeshire. In addition to supporting these groups, you will work closely with Cambridge Carbon Footprint's trustees, staff, and volunteers to develop and advance our community repair plans. This is a varied and rewarding role within a caring, community-focused organisation. The contract is for one year and may be extended subject to funding.

About Us
For nearly 20 years, Cambridge Carbon Footprint has been at the forefront of inspiring and empowering individuals and communities to take action on climate change. We are approachable and non-judgmental, empowering individuals and communities by giving them agency and voice, and providing the tools and support needed for effective climate action. We value strong connections with local communities and wider networks, ensuring our impact is both deep and far-reaching. Caring for our staff and volunteers is paramount, as their well-being and development are essential to our success. We are solutions-focused, embracing evidence-based and innovative practices that are practical and effective in making a tangible difference. We are a small and lively organisation. Last year, with just four members of staff, we ran or supported 179 events or activities with a combined attendance of 9,647 people and were assisted by 2,521 volunteers giving 10,829 hours of their time.
