About the Role
We are seeking Ride-on Mower Drivers to help maintain and improve parks and open spaces within the Borough of Fareham. As part of a team, you will maintain grass in parks, along road verges and play areas following a set route, clear leaf-fall from open spaces, inspect sites and report any issues to your supervisor. You will also sweep, collect and remove litter, rubbish and animal waste, use a smartphone to complete simple electronic records, inspections and work-related information, and assist with a range of gardening and grounds maintenance duties including pruning, weeding and general upkeep of shrubs and hedges.

Experience
Full training for operating the Ride-on Mower will be provided. Previous experience in grounds maintenance or gardening is beneficial but not essential.

About you
You will have a full, valid UK driving licence and a mature attitude. You should be able to work without close supervision and communicate professionally with customers. It is important that you get on well with your team and have a steady, methodical approach to your work.
