About the Role
You care about making a positive impact in the world and understand that greatness requires thinking differently. At IKEA, we work together to create a better everyday life for the many. As a Sales & Sustainability Assistant, also known as a Product Quality & Recovery Co-worker, you will manage recycling operations by handling returns, damaged goods, and supporting IKEA’s circular goals to ensure products and materials are reused, recycled, or disposed of responsibly.

This customer-facing role involves re-purposing, presenting, and selling IKEA products with pride to create the best customer experience and business results. You will work closely with different functions to support range changes, maintain product quality of displayed furniture, and intervene when necessary. You will also support and follow product quality guidelines for recalled, returned, and ex-display stock to improve customers’ perception of IKEA products.

Additionally, you will take responsibility for ensuring furniture is built correctly and secured in line with health & safety and manual handling practices, creating a safe shopping and working environment for visitors and co-workers.

Joining IKEA means being part of an inclusive and accepting work environment where diversity of thought, background, and culture is valued. Together, we contribute, grow, and share to make a better everyday life for many.
