About the Role
As a Senior Environmental Consultant at SOCOTEC, you will take responsibility for the project management and technical leadership of contaminated land projects and environmental assessments. You will work within the wider environmental team to deliver technical and operational work, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Your role includes proposal writing, factual and interpretative reporting, and day-to-day training and mentoring of junior team members. You will deliver all work safely and in line with SOCOTEC's safety policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service to existing and new clients. Experience
- At least 5 years' experience in geo-environmental/contaminated land consultancy.
- Practical work experience in geo-environmental/contaminated land and waste industry, including supervision of sub-contractors, soil and groundwater sampling and monitoring.
- Proven experience in writing contaminated land and waste reports, including human health and controlled waters risk assessments.
- Good IT skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences through clear written and verbal communication.

Qualifications
A relevant scientific or environmental degree is required.
