Responsibilities include managing site investigations, preparing technical reports, supporting projects from initial assessment through to remediation and validation, and liaising with clients and stakeholders. This role offers the chance to take on greater project responsibility within a supportive consultancy environment focused on practical and technically sound solutions.

The consultancy provides specialist advice across contaminated land, ground investigation, geotechnical engineering and environmental risk, supporting clients through the full project lifecycle from due diligence and desk studies to intrusive investigations, risk assessment, remediation strategy, validation and project completion. The working environment is practical and technically focused, with opportunities for both site-based and office-based project delivery.

- Manage and deliver geo-environmental and contaminated land projects from enquiry to completion
- Prepare project scopes, programmes and technical delivery plans
- Coordinate site works, subcontractors, laboratories and internal resources
- Monitor project progress, deadlines, budgets and deliverables
- Maintain clear communication with clients and project teams

- Plan and supervise Phase 2 ground investigations including intrusive works and environmental sampling
- Prepare site records, logs and monitoring data
- Review investigation outputs and identify technical concerns
- Prepare Phase 1 desk studies, preliminary risk assessments, and Phase 2 geo-environmental reports
- Develop conceptual site models and interpret environmental data
- Undertake contaminated land risk assessments and support remediation and validation reporting
- Act as a key client contact and attend project meetings
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
