About the Role
Are you committed to improving private rented housing standards? We are seeking a dedicated Service Manager to lead our Residential Environmental Health Team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of activities designed to improve housing standards in the private rented sector, supporting independent living through the administration of disabled facilities grants, setting and monitoring performance standards, driving efficiency improvements, optimising income to support service delivery, and using discretionary licensing powers to create a well-regulated private rented sector.

You will play a key role in ensuring safe and healthy homes for residents, using your expertise to influence and manage housing enforcement and service delivery. Requirements

Experience
Extensive experience as both a housing enforcement officer and manager is essential. Proven ability to lead teams and deliver housing enforcement activities effectively within the private rented sector.

A strong understanding of housing law and relevant legal processes is required, along with experience in setting and monitoring performance standards, driving efficiency improvements, and optimising income to support service delivery.

Qualifications
