About the Role
Kanadevia Inova is a global innovation leader in waste infrastructure, transforming waste into valuable resources such as energy, heat, hydrogen, and fertilizer. As Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing two Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plants in Yorkshire: a Standard Rules Installation and a bespoke food waste facility processing Animal By-Products (ABP) operating to PAS 110 standards. You will lead site teams and contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient plant operations, driving performance in biological stability, CHP electrical generation, heat utilisation, and overall output. Your role includes maintaining compliance with Environmental Permits, APHA, PAS 110, and company policies, managing financial performance including budgeting and cost control, and fostering a strong health, safety, and environmental culture. This position requires close collaboration with specialist advisers and central support functions to optimise operational and financial outcomes. Regular travel between sites is essential.
Experience
Proven experience managing Anaerobic Digestion, renewable energy, waste processing, or similar industrial facilities. Strong knowledge of Environmental Permit compliance, APHA requirements, PAS 110 standards, and operational reporting processes. Experience in financial management including budgeting, cash flow monitoring, operational reporting, and performance analysis is advantageous.

Demonstrable experience leading operational teams in process, waste, utilities, or renewable energy environments. Proactive problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to operational challenges. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with regulators, contractors, suppliers, and investors. Commitment to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly between sites with occasional overnight stays.
Qualifications
WAMITAB qualification in Anaerobic Digestion or related discipline is highly desirable. IOSH Managing Safely qualification or willingness to obtain through company-supported training.
