About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of district heating infrastructure projects in Enfield. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of projects from construction through to completion and handover. This role involves managing site teams, subcontractors, and specialist contractors while working closely with the Project Manager, Client, and wider project stakeholders.

The successful candidate will maintain high standards of safety, quality, programme performance, and commercial delivery throughout the construction phase. This is a site-based position, so candidates should be comfortable working in a construction environment and coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Experience
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction, utilities, infrastructure, or district heating.
- Experience managing site teams, subcontractors, and specialist contractors.
- Strong knowledge of construction health and safety requirements.
- Good working knowledge of CDM Regulations.
- Experience with programme and risk management.
- Experience managing RAMS and site documentation.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and inspection processes.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and work packages.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage projects with minimal supervision.
- CSCS Manager Card.
- SMSTS qualification.

Desirable
- Previous experience delivering district heating networks.
- Utilities, energy infrastructure, or civil engineering experience.
- Experience working with NDT subcontractors.
- Experience with commercial and contractual processes.
- Experience supporting engineering solutions and buildability reviews.
- Experience with project handover, as-built information, and O&M documentation.

Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality
- Lead by example in promoting high standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality performance.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, CDM regulations, and relevant legislation.
- Conduct and review risk assessments for site activities.
- Ensure safe systems of work are implemented and followed.
- Ensure employees and subcontractors are suitably trained and competent.
- Manage site inductions and ensure personnel understand their responsibilities.
- Ensure appropriate PPE and safety equipment is available and used correctly.
- Maintain records of site inspections and corrective actions.
- Ensure accident and near-miss reporting procedures are followed.
- Produce and maintain Inspection and Test Plans.
- Maintain the project Quality Assurance File.
- Ensure as-built information and O&M manuals are completed and submitted at project completion.

Organised and proactive with excellent leadership skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment and able to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders effectively. Strong communicator with the ability to manage risks and resolve issues promptly to ensure project success.
