About the Role
At Emtec Energy, we deliver renewable energy solutions across Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage, and grid connection projects, helping businesses move towards a more sustainable future. As a Site Manager - Solar, you will be responsible for the safe and successful delivery of projects on site, from construction through to commissioning. You will lead day-to-day site activities, coordinate contractors, monitor progress, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standards. This role requires strong leadership and excellent communication skills to manage contractors and site teams effectively. You will work closely with project, engineering, and commercial teams, liaise with clients and consultants, and support quality assurance, commissioning, and project handover. Compliance with CDM 2015, RAMS, and company Health & Safety procedures is essential, as is conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety checks. You will provide regular updates on progress, risks, and site performance, contributing to the successful delivery of renewable energy projects across the UK.

Experience
Strong site management experience within construction, energy, or infrastructure projects. Experience working on solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), grid infrastructure, or similar energy projects is highly advantageous.

Confident leader with excellent communication skills, able to manage contractors and site teams effectively. Practical, organised, and solutions-focused approach. Flexible and willing to travel and stay away from home as required. A good working knowledge of CDM 2015 and site Health & Safety requirements is essential.

Qualifications
SMSTS certification and a relevant CSCS card are required.
