About the Role
Eco2Solar, the UK’s largest and most successful Solar PV installer recently invested in by EON, is excited to offer a Renewables Electrician opportunity based in Bury. This role will help you develop skills to future-proof your career by installing EV chargers, Solar PV systems, battery storage, and innovative products for new build housing developers to meet carbon reduction targets.

As a Renewables Electrician, you will work in a safe and controlled environment installing renewable energy systems for new build housing developers. Your mission is to achieve the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service in low carbon electrical installations.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of PV systems including inverters and generation meters, accurate and timely submission of paperwork, and compliance with MCS and Health, Safety and Quality standards.

This is a site-based role requiring daily travel and occasional overnight stays. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential. You will use technology and apps to complete certifications and reports.

The role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing your personal workload while delivering excellent service. A strong client focus and a desire to develop your skills are key to success in this established team.

Experience
- Previous experience in solar installations and/or domestic new builds is required.
- Experience in 3 phase installations is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications
- 18th Edition electrical qualifications (BS7671)
- N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Building and Structures) OR completed apprenticeship with AM2
- Desirable but not essential:
- Solar certification (BPEC or City & Guilds Level 3 Award in the Installation of Small-Scale PV Systems)
- CSCS/ECS Card for site works
- Testing and Inspection 2391-52
