About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Solar PV Surveyor to support the delivery of renewable energy solutions across our housing stock. This role plays a key part in enabling the rollout of solar PV installations and low-carbon heating systems, helping us drive sustainability and improve energy efficiency for our customers.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out detailed property surveys, assessing feasibility, and ensuring all work meets technical, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys to assess suitability for solar PV and electric heating installations
- Evaluate roof structure, orientation, shading, and electrical infrastructure
- Assess internal layouts and existing heating systems to ensure compatibility
- Produce accurate, detailed reports to support installation teams
- Identify risks, constraints, and opportunities early in the process
- Collaborate with residents, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Support quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across projects
- Promote a strong focus on health & safety, customer experience, and sustainability

Experience
- Experience within surveying, construction, or renewable energy
- Strong technical understanding of solar PV systems
- Working knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- 17th / 18th Edition (BS7671)
- ECS Health & Safety
- Inspection & Testing (2391 or 2394/2395)
- Knowledge of Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS) (desirable)
