We are looking for a motivated Graduate Environment to support the enabling and delivery teams during the pre-construction and construction stages of our major potable water transfer project. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively in a high-demand sector, developing a project that will protect the environment and support communities across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to construction projects on environmental issues, including assisting with document production and review.
- Work collaboratively across SPA contracts to ensure requirements of the Construction Environment Management Plan are delivered at appropriate construction stages.
- Ensure compliance with current environmental legislation and promote best practices relevant to SPA.
- Undertake site inspections as defined by the Construction Environmental Management Plan.
- Assist with the development and delivery of training materials such as case studies and toolbox talks.
- Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards.
Experience
A degree in an environmental subject or a related discipline. Knowledge or experience in areas such as Contaminated Land, Statutory Nuisance, Waste Management, Ecology, Incident Investigation, or Environmental Permitting is desirable.
About you
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills. A proactive, detail-driven approach with a willingness to learn. Full UK driving licence (or working towards it).
Qualifications
A relevant degree in an environmental or related subject is required.
