About the Role
The Disclosures team within Glasgow Finance is part of the global Finance Shared Services External Reporting team responsible for producing financial regulatory reporting of the Firm in accordance with multiple accounting and regulatory frameworks. This Director level position within Corporate Controllers, Reporting & Accounting involves ownership of Sustainability Disclosures and related regulatory templates for European legal entities. The role includes preparing external reporting disclosures under US GAAP and IFRS, as well as financial regulatory reporting to regulators such as the Bundesbank and European Banking Authority.

You will collaborate with colleagues across Finance, Sustainability Office, Risk, Legal and Corporate Services, ensuring controlled processes, clear ownership, and delivery to agreed timelines and quality standards. Key responsibilities include managing Pillar 3 ESG templates, EU Taxonomy templates, Short Term Exercise (STE) templates, ad hoc regulatory submissions, and reconciliation of lending data for Physical Intensity metrics.

The role also involves establishing and maintaining a robust governance, documentation and controls framework, coordinating internal and external assurance activities, tracking remediation actions, driving continuous improvement, and presenting disclosures and analytics to senior management for due diligence pre-filing.

Experience
At least 4-6 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, regulatory reporting, or external disclosures. Proven background in running controlled production processes and designing or operating risk and control frameworks. Experience working with large datasets and managing stakeholder relationships across multiple functions including Finance, Sustainability, Risk, Legal, and Corporate Services.
