About the Role
Santander UK is evolving into a technology-driven organisation focused on customer-centric transformation, innovation, and bold thinking. As a Sustainability Executive within Communications, Marketing & Responsible Banking, you will support the Sustainability Centre of Excellence in delivering practical sustainability activities across Santander UK on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Your responsibilities will include supporting sustainability strategy and reporting, social impact and engagement, climate and nature strategy, responsible business, and business delivery support.
You will help translate sustainability priorities into practical initiatives, propositions, colleague tools, business guidance, engagement activities, and reporting outputs. This involves research, analysis, content creation, coordination, and delivery support to move sustainability plans into implementation.
Working closely with senior managers and subject matter experts, you will support engagement with business domains and teams by gathering requirements, preparing materials, tracking progress, identifying issues, and supporting follow-up. You will ensure sustainability activities are clear, practical, evidence-based, aligned with governance and risk requirements, and contribute to delivering agreed priorities.
Additionally, you will support colleague engagement initiatives such as Sustainability Connect and Global Sustainability Days by preparing content, supporting events, gathering insights, tracking engagement, and helping colleagues understand how sustainability connects to customer outcomes, business resilience, responsible banking, and daily decision-making.
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team driving meaningful impact in sustainability within the financial services sector.
