About the Role

As a Sustainability Intern within the Corporate Supply Chain function, you will support the Sustainable Procurement team in managing and developing sustainability initiatives across the supply chain. This 12-month internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to decarbonisation projects, promote social impact through procurement, and drive diversity and inclusion in sourcing processes. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Great Britain and Ireland, raising the profile of sustainable procurement and helping Siemens meet its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals. Your responsibilities will include supporting the use and development of the Ecovadis sustainability rating platform, promoting social enterprises and diverse organisations, and assisting with scope 3 emissions reduction and reporting for Siemens UK entities. This role is based in Manchester, encouraging office presence to foster learning and connection, with flexibility to work remotely part of the week.

- Enjoys collaborating in team environments and brainstorming innovative solutions.

Qualifications
Knowledge of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is preferable but not essential. A positive attitude and commitment to sustainability are key.
