About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sustainability Professional to join our growing team as a Skills Coach. This is a highly impactful role where you’ll support apprentices throughout their learning journey, shaping and delivering engaging content for our Sustainability Professional programme and helping learners build meaningful careers. You will support the delivery of our Sustainability Professional apprenticeship programme, aligned to the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner standard. Your responsibilities will include coaching and mentoring apprentices to deliver an outstanding learning experience, ensuring learners stay on track and successfully complete their apprenticeship, delivering regular progress reviews and keeping employers informed on apprentice development. You will support the review and continuous improvement of programme content and delivery, design and facilitate engaging group sessions including virtual and in-person workshops, coordinate training activities with employers and industry experts, assess apprentice work and provide timely developmental feedback, and manage your schedule effectively to ensure learner progress and achievement. You will also follow quality assurance processes to maintain best practice and compliance, build strong relationships with apprentices and employers, and provide pastoral support where required.

Requirements

Experience
- Experience working as a Sustainability Professional (in-house, consultancy, or agency), and/or delivering sustainability training
- Good understanding of corporate responsibility and sustainability frameworks and initiatives
- Experience in teaching, training, or coaching with a strong interest in learner development

- Strong sustainability expertise and a passion for developing others
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships
- Strong organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Confident using digital tools including MS Office, LMS platforms, and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
- Commitment to continuous learning and personal development
- A passion for helping people start and progress their careers
- Aligned to our values and able to balance commercial awareness with empathy

Qualifications
- Ideally hold a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)
