Our Sustainable Energy Graduate Development Programme will play a key role in supporting global commercial customers in the Energy sector with their sustainable energy transition plans, while helping them manage risks and handle claims.

During the programme, you will rotate through three teams:

Energy Underwriting
Gain comprehensive knowledge of risk assessment and management focused on sustainability. Learn to evaluate insurance applications, determine terms, and set premium rates based on detailed analysis. Collaborate closely with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Claims
Work with the Zurich Claims team to manage and resolve insurance claims with a sustainability focus. Assess damages, determine settlements, and collaborate across departments to integrate sustainable solutions into the claims process.

Zurich Resilience Solutions (Engineering Proposition)
Identify and mitigate risks while promoting sustainable practices across industries. Conduct risk assessments, develop management strategies, and recommend sustainable solutions in collaboration with clients and internal teams.

These placements will develop your expertise across insurance, from risk understanding and reduction to claims, pricing, and frameworks—all with a focus on sustainable energy. You will add value and make an impact from the start, building a strong foundation for your future career.

As part of the programme, you will participate in an in-depth learning and development curriculum and complete a Level 6 Senior Insurance Professional Apprenticeship (equivalent to a bachelor's degree), including the Chartered Insurance Institute ACII qualification.

Experience
No prior experience required. A passion for sustainability and enthusiasm to learn are essential.

Qualifications
- Recently achieved (within the last three years) or on track to achieve a 2.1 (or above) bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least 96 UCAS points (CCC grades or equivalent) from 3 A-level subjects
- A* to C grade (9 to 4) in Maths and English GCSE
