£15,514.20 per annum (APO2 Grade, £25,857 FTE pro rata) + 9% pension contribution entitlement
About the Role
This fixed-term post, funded until 31st March 2026 (with possible extension depending on funding), supports the South Yorkshire Woodland Partnership’s target to increase woodland cover by 250 hectares. The post-holder will provide essential technical and administrative support to the Programme Team and assist with other related projects as they arise. Key responsibilities include coordinating and updating the Project Pipeline to help the Delivery Team track progress and manage case work, setting up systems to manage case files for efficient team operation, and delivering excellent customer service. The role involves collating data and information to support submissions to regulatory agencies, funders, and partners, as well as providing general administration such as responding to enquiries from landowners, the public, and partners, managing emails, and answering phone calls. The position requires engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders including private landowners, businesses, public bodies, and partner organisations. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to contribute to woodland creation and support a small, dynamic team.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar technical and administrative role.

Attention to detail and accuracy are essential for tasks such as minute-taking, report preparation, and purchase order management. You should be willing to learn and able to respond effectively to partners and the programme team as opportunities arise. Commitment to the Partnership’s aims of woodland creation is important.
Qualifications
Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject.
