About the Role
Join BRE Group’s expanding BREEAM team during an exciting period of growth. As a Technical Auditor, you will support the delivery of high-quality, science-based sustainability certification by conducting desktop-based technical audits of BREEAM assessments. This role is part of the Certification and Operations team within BPS and ensures consistency, accuracy, and professionalism in all certification activities. You will liaise with translators when required, manage your workload to meet deadlines, provide customer support via phone, email, and live chat, maintain accurate records, and update certification databases. Additionally, you will support onboarding and training of new team members, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and assist leadership in maintaining high performance and quality assurance processes. No prior auditing experience is necessary; what matters most are strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to apply BREEAM technical standards consistently. The recruitment process includes an online assessment followed by a virtual assessment centre.

Experience
Previous auditing experience is not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to review evidence and apply technical standards consistently. Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn bespoke systems is essential.

Proactive and detail-oriented individual capable of managing and prioritising workload independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. You should be comfortable providing customer support and working collaboratively within a team environment.
