About the Role
Pellenc ST is a global leader in the circular economy sector, with over 2800 machines deployed worldwide. We develop, manufacture, and market cutting-edge optical sorting equipment for waste inspection and sorting across various materials including packaging, plastics, paper, electronics, industrial, automobile, and organic waste. As a UK Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the sales strategy, cultivating sales opportunities, and closing deals. Your role includes conducting comprehensive market analysis to define the sales approach, regularly visiting clients and prospects, and attending relevant trade shows. You will occasionally travel to the company headquarters in the south of France for biannual sales meetings and to accompany clients to the test center. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager UK, you will join a multicultural team of five focused on developing business in Northern Europe. You will benefit from strong team spirit and support from colleagues at headquarters including applications, test center, and sales administration. The position offers a company vehicle and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience selling large capital equipment. Proven expertise in managing large sales territories and key accounts. Experience in technical sales or engineering roles, preferably within industrial processes related to waste management and plastics recycling.
About you
Strong communication skills in English for effective customer interaction and internal coordination with engineering, customer service, back-office, and test center teams. Ability to work autonomously in a remote role. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales strategies. Comfortable working within a multicultural team environment.
Qualifications
Technical sales or engineering educational background. Minimum education level: Master’s degree or equivalent.
