About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Support Officer to support the operation and continued development of Lancashire County Council's award-winning Reuse Hub and wider waste reduction initiatives. This varied role offers a mix of administrative, data, and operational responsibilities, providing support to projects and services that help reduce waste, increase reuse, and maximise social value across Lancashire.

Working within the Programmes, Engagement and Data Team, you will support the day-to-day operation of the Reuse Hub, assist with the collection and analysis of performance data, maintain records and information systems, support service improvement projects, and help coordinate activities with colleagues, volunteers, and partner organisations.

The role combines office-based work with practical activities within the operational environment and will involve working across a number of waste management facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a rewarding role that contributes directly to Lancashire's environmental ambitions and supports communities across the county.

Experience
Experience of working with data and information systems is essential. Proven ability to manage a varied workload and work both independently and as part of a team is required.
