About the Role
Eni Plenitude is seeking a Trading Analyst (Sustainability/Biofuels) to join Eni Trade & Biofuels (ETB) in London. In this role, you will manage sustainability requirements and mass balance accounting within the biofuels trading area. Your responsibilities will include supporting sustainability certifications, audits, feedstock traceability, and sustainability projects such as digitalisation initiatives and implementation of regulatory frameworks and systems.

ETB is a dynamic and innovative trading company within the Eni group, focused on crude oil, refined oil products, and biofuels. With offices in Rome, London, Singapore, and Houston, ETB plays a key role in the energy transition and sustainability efforts of Eni, a global energy leader operating in 61 countries.

Main responsibilities include managing sustainability mass balance activities across the supply chain, ensuring compliance with regulatory and certification requirements, supporting commercial activities to optimize sustainability balances, and acting as the internal focal point for sustainability documentation and compliance. You will also coordinate certification activities, lead audits, support traceability and digitalisation projects, and provide analytical and management support for trading and sustainability performance.

Requirements

Experience
University degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Physics, or IT. Strong understanding of sustainability certification schemes, traceability requirements, and renewable fuel regulations. Advanced Excel and data analysis skills. Experience with PowerBI or other digital reporting tools is a plus. Proven ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable business insights. Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience interacting with suppliers, customers, certification bodies, and internal teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in document management and compliance processes.

Qualifications
Fluent in English. Relevant university degree as noted above. No additional formal qualifications are explicitly required, but a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and sustainability frameworks is essential.
