About the Role
This role is based within Enitial, a division of Cawood Scientific Limited and the UK's leading provider of independent field monitoring and sampling services. As a Trainee Environmental Technician, you will be part of a skilled team delivering routine environmental monitoring and sampling services across the UK. You will conduct site-based monitoring activities primarily within Water and Compliance service areas, following company protocols and client contract specifications. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will gain broad experience across Enitial’s services, with opportunities to specialise and progress towards a Senior Technician role through extensive training and on-site exposure. Key responsibilities include conducting environmental monitoring, maintaining environmental control systems, liaising with clients to build trusted relationships, ensuring equipment and vehicles are well maintained and calibrated, managing data accurately and timely, and prioritising safety in all fieldwork activities. You will also support team morale and collaborate regionally to deliver reliable and professional service to clients while complying with company policies and procedures.

Experience
- Some experience in environmental monitoring is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided
- Proven track record in problem solving and being proactive
- Experience working outdoors and prepared to work in all weather conditions
